About FishMart

FishMart is an online fish and seafood shop. You choose the fish, tell us exactly how you want it cleaned and cut, and we bring it to your door, so you don't have to spend a morning at the fish market haggling, waiting for the cutter and carrying a dripping bag home.

How FishMart works

We buy fish from the market according to what is available, then prepare each order the way the customer asked for it. That is why our delivery is same day or next day: it depends on whether the fish you ordered is in the market.

1. You order online. Pick a product, choose the cutting option (whole, gutted, headless, slices, boneless fillet, biscuits or fingers, depending on the fish) and enter the quantity in kg.
2. We source it. We get your fish from the market based on availability. If something you ordered isn't available, we contact you.
3. We clean and cut it to order. Your fish is prepared to the cut you selected, not pre-cut and left waiting.
4. We deliver. Same day or next day, depending on availability. The delivery charge is shown at checkout before you confirm.

What we sell

• Fresh Sea Fish: Surmai (King Fish), White Pomfret, Black Pomfret, Red Snapper (Heera), Mushka, Rawans (Indian Salmon), Bangda and Hamour.
• Freshwater Fish: Rohu and Tilapia.
• Boneless Fish: ready-to-cook fillets and finger fish.
• Prawns & Shrimp: medium, large, jumbo and tiger prawns.
• Crabs & Other Seafood: mud crab (Kekra).

Honest names, clear prices

Local fish names can be confusing. "Indian Salmon" (Rawans) is not a true salmon, and "Black Pomfret" is not a true pomfret. Every product page explains what the fish actually is, how it tastes and which dishes it suits. Prices are shown per kg and follow the market, so they can change from day to day.

Paying for your order

You can pay cash on delivery or by bank transfer in advance. If you pay in advance and the fish you ordered turns out to be unavailable, the amount for that item is refunded to you.

FishMart is an online-only business. We don't have a shop or walk-in location; all orders are placed through the website or by contacting us.
